Dear Soldiers:
Your commanders have said that the
war will take a few days. Were they correct? And they convinced
you that losses will be minimal
in the Ground Combat.
We assure that they won't be correct.
This leaflet depicted a US transport plane unloading rows and rows of coffins. Even our own US Congress heatedly debated what would be the loss of life if the US entered a war with Iraq over Kuwait. Estimates as high as 10,000 casualties were predicted to occur once the war started.
