The US dropped the above greetings card leaflets to mark Eid Mabarakm, the end of Ramadan. The leaflets depict a date palm and a bowl of dates. Dates are a traditional food eaten at the celebration of the end of the month-long fasting period.
Packages of California Dates were also provided to the Afghan people.
