Static Line Leaflet Box

Another simple method of aerial delivery is the use of a medium size common cardboard box. It is attached to a static line and the sides are sliced and taped in such a manner that as the containers reaches the end of the slack in the static line, it burst open and the leaflets scatter. Boxes can be thrown from any rotary or fixed wing aircraft that can be rigged to accommodate a static line. A standard copier box would contain some 20,000 leaflets.
